This popular Community event gets bigger every year due to fine beers, wines and the wonderful venue - The Guildhall' With over 35 beers from mainly small Midlands Breweries, a fine selection of European draught beers, traditional Ciders and a choice of over twenty wines from around the world. What better way to get rid of those Xmas blues and the credit crunch? If that is not enough then there will be fine food and the ‘Famous Pork Pies’ plus two superb bands. DOWNLOAD BEER LIST Friday 8.00pm The Grey Goose Band This new band are building a fast growing reputation in the Midlands for their fresh distinctive sound. They are leader Frankie Williams Guitar/vocals, Rufus T Watson bass, James 'Chuddy' Mitchell drums and 'Little' Dave Smith harmonica. They play a mix of classic blues songs and their own self penned material with a great feel for the music. They are rapidly building up a deserved reputation for classy blues on the Midlands Blues scene. www.myspace.com/thegreygooseblues   Saturday 8.00pm Shamus O’Blivion and the Megadeth Morrismen This high energy Celtic Band specialise in foot stomping music in a highly humorous fashion tailored made for beer festivals. They have appeared at numerous festivals winning audience with their highly enjoyable performances. With their colourful clothing, bells and ribbons and funny hats they whip up a storm with fine Irish Jigs, a pounding rock beat and a great sense of fun.
